How can I be sure a service provider is registered as a sworn translator in Luxembourg ?

To make sure that a service provider is authorised to produce certified translations, check that their name appears in the register published by the Ministry of Justice or in the government gazette.

An entry in the register or the government gazette is proof of a service provider’s official recognition to produce certified, legally valid translations in Luxembourg. These can both be accessed free of charge, and are divided by language and area of expertise.

As I specialise in the field of law and finance, I can guarantee that my services comply with the requirements of courts, institutions and administrative bodies in Luxembourg and other countries internationally.

Sworn translator in France and Luxembourg

As well as being registered with the Caen Court of Appeal in France, I have also recently registered with the Supreme Court of Justice in Luxembourg.

My registration is recorded in the government gazette of 2 March 2026 and in the register of the Ministry of Justice. This authorises me to produce certified translations that are recognised by authorities in that country. Again, if you require proof of my status as a sworn translator in Luxembourg, feel free to contact me to obtain my certificate of registration.

I apply my legal and linguistic expertise to my services for professionals, institutions and private individuals. This is in accordance with regulations in Luxembourg which stipulate that sworn translators must translate into at least 1 of the 3 languages of the country, these being French, Luxembourgish and German.

If you need official documents in another language, you must ensure that the translation will be accurate and comply with requirements so that your formalities go smoothly. So before you choose a provider, check that they:

This depends on a few factors. These include:
