About me

I am an English-to-French legal translator and sworn translator with the Caen Court of Appeal in Normandy, France. For nearly 30 years, I have produced accurate, reliable translations for law firms, notaries public, courts, corporations, and private individuals. My clients come back to me time and again for my professionalism, meticulous process and in-depth understanding of the worlds of law and finance. My translation process

From start to finish, your legal or sworn translation follows a clear, step-by-step process:

  • Send me your brief: send me your document using the secure link I give you. Include a detailed summary of your specific needs

  • Get your quotation: I send you a detailed quotation for your approval before starting 

  • I review your documents: I carefully read through your document. If I find anything in your document that appears wrong or doesn’t make sense, we fix it together

  • I translate: I produce an accurate translation that is true to your original document and tailored to your needs

  • You may request a first draft: as an optional extra service, I can send you a first draft of the translation so that you can write your comments and suggestions

  • You get your final translation: once approved, I return my final translation to you. If you require a sworn translation, I print, stamp and sign the final translation and return it to you by post

  • You receive my invoice: I bill for my work once the final translation has been delivered
